Deep Freeze...and free batting offer
Hello sewing friends,
I'm writing this newsletter from home where I've been house bound since the snow began last Sunday. While some outlying areas of Cleveland didn't get snow, my area sure did and the rural roads in my neighborhood have been icy this past week. We are looking forward to normal temperatures so we can get back to the shop!
We cancelled all classes this past week and if you were enrolled we will be contacting you to rebook those dates. I've heard that some of you tried to visit the shop this week and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by being closed.
I'm glad I had the foresight to bring home some sewing! I've been working on a quilt sample for my Montenegro class coming up February 4th and 11th. There are still spaces left in this class and you can book here: http://www.thestitcherytn.com/classes or by calling the shop. I chose Moda's Etchings Collection for a Cause for my quilt and we still have some of this gorgeous selection left on the shelves for you. But you better hurry. Once it's gone it's gone!.
We are excited that our first youth sewing class is coming up on January 29th. This is for youth 6-10 years old This is an introductory hand sewing class and registration is still open. This is a great class for homeschoolers. You can book online here: http://www.thestitcherytn.com/classes or by calling the shop.
If you want to see all the classes we are currently offering at a glance, here is a link to our calendar: Calendar More will be added in the next week.
Lastly...for the remainder of January, any longarm quilting jobs dropped off or mailed to the store will be eligible for FREE BATTING (Quilters' Dream 80/20). We have added an intake form to the website and our most popular pantographs for edge to edge quilting. Visit our Quilting Services section of the website. If you are sending your quilt to us by mail, please fill out the intake form and submit it online before mailing your quilt to us. If you are local and want to drop off your quilt, you do not have to fill out the intake form online but are welcome to and just make a note in the special instructions that you will be dropping it off. Let's get those quilt tops finished so they can keep someone warm.
That's about all we have to share on updates. We look forward to seeing you in the store.
